Eric came out when our furnace was not heating our house anymore, he was very knowledgeable, fast, and efficient. He installed our new furnace the next day and took the time to show me how to work the new thermostat he added as a part of their promotion. He was patient and answered every question I had. I would use Rainier Gas Line again!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH RAINIER GASLINE. They are not licensed and bonded and have multiple unpaid infractions. Check the lni site - https://secure.lni.wa.gov/verify/Detail.aspx?UBI=602778669&LIC=RAINIGL893C8&SAW=
Similar to another reviewer, Eric appeared very knowledgeable about HVAC systems. He did some initial work for us and then contacted us a few weeks later to tell us that he was available to do the work to replace our heating system. He then gave a quote for installing a new HE gas furnace. We agreed on the specs and timing and he was so fast in getting the 50% down payment in order to supposedly purchase the equipment. The day he was supposed to install the furnace, he sends a message that the equipment isn't available yet. The following day, he was sick. The following more days, he was still sick. One week passes, no word on when the install will happen. 2 weeks - he replies that he will come the following week.
Long story short, eventually, after days that turned to weeks and now months of not replying to phone calls and text messages, we still don't have heat and neither Eric nor Shannon have replied to our inquiries on whether they will still install or at least give us our money back. The money they took was for half of what a new furnace with duct work would cost. Its not chump change to us and throughout this winter we have had to suffer through without heat as we couldn't afford to cough up more money to hire another contractor.

Eric L.comes across as a knowledgeable HVAC technician, but when working to install a furnace in my home, he didn't fulfill the work tasks that I paid him to do. After paying him, he appeared to lose all interest in finalizing the job. Finally, i had to pay another HVAC tech to adjust the furnace, add a filter chamber, haul the old furnace away, and quiet the new furnace, as it was SO loud that we couldn't sleep or hear each other speak in our home. When I tried to correct the problems and reach a compromise with his office manager (and wife)-- she responded crassly, unprofessionally and refused to even acknowledge how I didn't get all the services that I paid for. Eric comes across as a likable, smart guy-- but if you use his services, I suggest that you withhold payment until all the agreed upon work are completed-- and his work is checked for accurate completion by another knowledgeable technician. It was hard to write this review, because i only want to help hardworking guys like Eric. I try to never say negative things about anyone-- but in this situation, I felt that I overpaid for the work I received-- and was treated without respect or kindness when I tried to reach a compromise to fix the problem.

I would like to respond to Deanna Sterns
review. She requested free work, changes,
and additional materials once job was
completed. When we refused to make
these changes as well as pay for them, she
with-held remaining payment. Job has not
been paid off, there is still a pending
blanace even though work was completed
per original agreement. She has been
provided with a receipt as well as an invoice
for partial payment that she made. Also we
have never
taken a homeowner's money and not
completed the job, that is slander and it will
not be tolerated. Thank you.

Initial gas extension line work was fine. But everything went sideways on the custom fire table project. Work was never completed. Amateur concrete work that did not look at all like the examples shown. Took money and then never returned calls or texts, never provided receipt for money paid on work order. Have repeatedly tried to schedule completion with no response. Has been 6 months. Finally had to order materials myself to do what I already paid him to do and will likely have to scrap the project and start over. Unfortunately, I had recommended him to a friend before I realized this is his business plan...he took out their old furnace, took a bunch of money to supposedly buy their new furnace and then disappeared. He's blocked their phones from calling or texting. I would definitely NOT recommend Eric or Rainier GasLine HVAC.
