Before I got my little tattoo, I emailed quite a few shops around about their black ink - most didn't ever get back to me, a few responded saying that their ink was "all natural" but weren't being specific whether that "natural" was derived from plants or animals, and the only shop that could tell me straight forward that yes, they had strictly plant-derived black ink, I ended up going to and having a less than satisfying experience. It's been a couple of months and I'm looking to get it touched up at a different shop. Anyone have a favorite shop/artist? (no mama's basement tattoo artists, please)
