Looking for a new tax accountant. With the daycare and Simon's spinning business, it's getting complicated. Any suggestions. Last year we paid $450 to have them done. Way to much!

Tax Services, Inc. Tigard, OR. They are licensed in all 50 states. They do mine (which is no easy task) and it is only like $120 I think. They give new clients a discount on their first time doing business. Yours might cost a little more because you are running 2 separate businesses? I am self - employed too but give them a call 503-670-1940 and ask for Judy.
For several years, we have used the same accounting firm to do our annual external audit. They are good at what they do, but due to the new auditing standards and stringent documentation requirements...

Hey Carol Ann You musta been paying attention to the Vetigo Message Board, eh? We're having a little tax discussion on there as well. 'Tis the Season... The guy I use is Michael Davidson at A&E Tax Service (http://www.aetaxservice.com). He's a former producer and specializes in taxes for artists. Check out his website or give him a call at (503) 228-0962. He's a pretty cool guy. Good luck
