We are leaving Rogers Cable and do not want to join Bell. In our experience they are both a nightmare to deal with if there are any issues. Looking for new TV provider. Any suggestions? We still want to be able to watch local news.

We use vMedia for internet, TV and home phone. Grea service and great prices! http://www.vmedia.ca
I know folks have posted on this before but where are the best savings for service providers for tv, phone and internet. We were with Rogers and had issues so switched to Bell but prices seem outrageous. Suggestions?

I found a company called vmedia. Been using them for my Internet for the last year. No complaints. Have yet to try their tv package but it looks interesting. www.vmedia.ca
Officially OVER Rogers communications! This is the second time they've messed up my billing and confirmed incorrectly when I called them about invoices. Any suggestion on another internet service provider? I'm going AppleTV from now on, cable TV in Ontario is a joke! Competition is needed, and I would love to see this topic brought up on a national level during the next #Federal elections. Cellphone and cable rates are ridiculous in Canada!!
Looking for a reliable ISP and I want to know your opinions Hamilton! As far as I know, there's Cogeco, Bell, and Eyesurf. Any other internet service providers should I know about? Any recommendations?

I'll put my two cents in. I have Teksavvy DSL 25/10 at work and I have no complaints. Good service and very reliable. I use [Electronic Box](http://www.electronicbox.net/en/) DSL 15/1 at home and I'm very pleased with the service. Free dryloop and bandwidth usage between 2 AM to 2 PM doesn't count towards allotted usage. I've seen [VMedia](http://www.vmedia.ca/) mentionned as another alternative, but can't speak for their service as I've never used it. Same goes for Start.ca
Can anyone recommend a Cable TV provider that is cheap but has sports channels for 4K Spadina? Or an alternative to cable tv? Only need it for a month or so.
Generally speaking, what should we expect to pay for a combined internet/HD cable package? Any recos on providers? Thanks gang!

I have a full HD cable package and 30 mbps unlimited internet for about $115 after tax from www.vmedia.ca. It is not quite perfect but you would pay almost the same for a comparable TV-only package from Rogers.
