R&R-centric Winter Resort Recommendations Looking to see if I can pull something together here in February for a quick getaway with my girlfriend, ideally the (I'm sure extremely busy) 3-day President's Day weekend.
I have never been skiing in my life and don't necessarily need to start, though good learning facilities are appreciated. I'm more worried about recommendations for the resort spas + accomodations, as well as general locale and dining options.
Loose idea of a plan is Massage + Tubing + Dinner + maybe skating + relaxation (and the environment of it all).
Being unfamiliar with ski resorts at all, am I putting myself in a bad spot considering something like staying in downtown Gettysburg + "commuting" Sunday to Liberty? Are there any places that fit this bill that you HIGHLY recommend I try to package? I'm open to it (though I get that it's a highly peak weekend AND I already know many accomodations are booked).

My family and I wanted to spend New Years somewhere in the snow. Anyone have any ideas where to go? We just moved from California and the only place we know about is Boone, but everything there is booked.
Good afternoon world mark family,
We are planning our yearly vacation this year and we were looking into going to the east coast. Now plans are not panning out so we are looking for other places that are family friendly and have awesome things to do for kiddos. We have a 7 and a 2. Suggestions? We are open to anywhere
