Trying to find travel insurance for a swimming holiday in Spain. Open water swimming expressly excluded from cover. But they will let me do alligator wrestling for a small premium! Think I'm going to have to phone round a few companies. Any suggestions?
Teresa L. replied:
Try www.dogtag.co.uk who specialise in sports also www.holidaysafe.co.uk do specific running and triathlon cover so should be able to cover swimming
Does anyone have any recommendations for any Travel Insurance Companies that offer reasonable cost cover for pre-existing medical conditions....cheapest we can seem to find is £300 for a family of 3 for 10 days in France, Thank you.

Holidaysafe.co.uk and use code FAM16 for 20% off valid til September. I've used them the last few years for family multi trip policy (and three of the five family members having medical conditions to declare. Post office wasn't cheapest for us unfortunately.
Any of you guys have travel insurance while you tour europe? Any recommendations.... Was reading the small print on some policies and they exclude motorcycling.

And it won't pay for repatriation either. We used Holiday Safe http://www.holidaysafe.co.uk/

I've been travelling with a heart condition & duodenal ulcer and have been doing all the comparison websites for years...this came to an end last year & last week when I once again got the lowest quote from www.holidaysafe.co.uk who were in the Which magazine's top 10 best travel Insurance companies for travellers with an existing medical condition.

Do you need to have travel insurance for a year to get a visa for canada? or could you get away with not having any!
Nick B. replied:
These two seem to be the cheapest so far - http://www.aceinsure.com/travel/ and https://www.holidaysafe.co.uk/ I'll probably go with Holiday Safe when I purchase next year.
