Mortgage advisor recommendations? My partner and I are fortunate enough to have just had an offer accepted on a house, so our next step is to go about arranging a mortgage. I was just wondering if anyone here had any particular recommendations for an advisor/broker they'd used?

I used Jonathan Bright from JFinance (www.jfinance.co.uk) a few years ago on the recommendation of a friend. He was very happy to come to me in my flat in Oxford to sort it all out, and was incredibly helpful. I'd strongly recommend him!
Oxford IFA recommendation [Finance] Hi all,
I'm looking for personal recommendations of Independent Financial Advisors in or around Oxford.
I can use the googles and search for one, but I'd really appreciate people's opinions of IFAs they've actually used.
Any thoughts?
Thanks! :-)

I used Jonathon Bright, who is the owner of JFinance (www.jfinance.co.uk), for arranging a mortgage on the recommendation of a friend a few years back. Not Oxford based, but he was happy to come up to my flat in Oxford to consult as needed, and wasn't pushing me to buy through him- he even said that he was happy to give advice to me for free even if I bought my mortgage direct with a bank. I'd highly recommend him based on my experience!
Please could you anonymously place a post asking if anyone can recommend any financial advisors (for mortgages). Thanks

Jonathan Bright at JFinance www.jfinance.co.uk. Local company in the centre of Newbury. He's helped with our life insurances and recent mortgage change. I would totally recommend him.
