  Best place to get large rocks? Kind of a strange question, I know, but does anyone have tips on where to gather some large, 2-3 ft rocks in the area? No particular kind of stone in mind. Asking because my mom is working on her garden a lot lately and wants to incorporate more large stones into the design. So I figured this might be a good opportunity for a mother's day present! Of course, free is always better, but if you know where I could purchase them too that's also quite helpful! Cheers!

  I have been in the landscape business for many years Landscape Masters Inc and I agree with Karen Guy on pine bark. I prefer triple shredded pine over nuggets. Triangle Landscape Supply on Gresham Lake Rd is the place to buy it. 919-872-3632

  I've had good luck picking up truckloads of mulch at http://www.trianglelandscapesupplies.com/ on Gresham Lake Rd. in North Raleigh. Staff is sometimes a little grumpy, but is cheaper than Mulch Masters and very good quality mulch.
