  I'm looking to sponsor a child. I have heard the world vision is the worst to go through as they pocket half the money for themselves. Can anyone recommend an organisation that I can do a child sponsorship and actually make a difference to the child and their family? I should add that I make regular donations to various local charities so I don't need recommendations on anything else other than child sponsorship. Thanks in advance for your support.

  Forget Me Not is a grass roots Australian registered organisation working in India, Nepal and Uganda. We are currently looking for sponsors for the Nanna project in Uganda at $35 per month. I am the project manager for project in Uganda which provides access to education for vulnerable children in Uganda, most of whole are orphans and love with elderly grandmothers.
