  Downtown non-chain hotel recommendations? Coming down for PTFC v. RSL and looking for a non-chain hotel recommendation near downtown. Timbers Army usually stays at Little America, so some place in that area would be nice. I've seen Hotel Monaco pop up a few times, but that seems a little swanky. Is there anything a little more alternative or am I looking for something that doesn't exist? Thanks!

  The old Peery Hotel is amazing, over 100 years old and completely remodeled. Slept there and they have very comfortable pillow tops.
