  Susan, we live east, not south! Illinois is east of Missouri! Check hotels in Fairview Heights along I-64. Most people coming to St Louis don't think about this side of the river. It's only 10 miles to downtown, and you can take the metro in to the game. It drops you off right at the stadium and don't have to mess with traffic. I just called the Ramada Inn in Fairview. They have some rooms available, kind size beds. Phone is 618-632-4747

There are a group of motels near the Massaponax Exit south of Fredericksburg (exit 126 off I95) these are the closest to the start of the event and there are lots of restaurants near by.
