  Haircut help? Hi Group! I am hoping someone can give me a few good recommendations for hairstylists in Inwood/Wash Hts. (I have long, mostly straight hair with a very slight waviness.) I recently got a haircut with layers that look weird/choppy and now my hair hangs strangely when I blow it dry. So I am looking for someone in the 'hood who is good at working with long hair and also good at fixing a less-than-optimal layering from a previous stylist. Thanks!

  Hello Inwood Friends: Somewhat off-topic question, but perhaps someone can offer suggestions or help ! My 6 year old daughter has never had a haircut - it's below her hips when combed straight. We have talked about a "Locks of Love" hair donation, and she is ready to have a haircut - she'll be able to donate about 12 inches + of hair. So - my question is: Does anyone know of a haircutter or salon that might do her haircut free of charge or for a minimal fee? I have a very,very tight budget right now, and I cannot spend $$$ on this haircut. Terrified to try and do this myself.... Locks of Love used to post participating salon names on their website, but apparently they no longer do this.
