He is 13 ( unheard of for a Dane) and I hate to admit it but I think it's time. Lost a bunch of muscle in his hips and having trouble getting up. Going to hurt to do it but I think it's best for him.   We use Alice Emberton, a mobile vet 615-327-5011 She is based in Madison but visits our part of town regularly. We started with her when we had 4 dogs and couldn't get a group rate from any of the local vets - she charges one fee for the visit, so we could get everybody's shots updated as well as individual needs seen to, and we like her so much that we still use her even though the pack is now down to one.
