Help!!! Does anyone know of a summer reading program in August I could put Gavin into? Or at least a tutor? He needs a lot of help with his reading and he fights me for hours everyday with it!

Caroline and a group of busy mothers would like to know what educational (mathematics, literacy or problem solving) apps you would recommend for 6-7 year-olds?
Ellen H. replied:
Not too sure about apps, but good websites are pbs.com and starfall.com. Someone else mentioned brainpop which I know some of our teachers like.
Can anyone recommend any educational websites for me to use with homeschooling. I need to get worksheets and a place where the kids can get online.

"Does anyone recommend some good, educational videos for young kids? Videos on science, animals, math, etc.? Just something as an alternative to "tv time". Thanks!"

Wild Kratts, on PBS or pbs.com even my 12 year old likes it!
