  I saw Dr. LaFond at [Gastrointestinal Specialists](https://www.gastrova.com/) for a few years. Last summer I switched to seeing Dr. Richardson at [Richmond Gastroenterology Associates](https://www.richmondgastro.com/). He took the time to really talk with me about my symptoms. Not that LaFond didn't, but I felt like Richardson was more attentive.

  I *really* like Dr. Colin Gallahan at Richmond Gastroenterology. I have ulcerative colitis and he’s been responsive in helping me with the recurring flare ups. He’s also been trying to help me find a biologic that doesn’t cost me as much as a car for a year’s worth.
