Dr. Yurko specializes in orthopedic surgeries (not certain if hip displaysia falls in that category though) There is no one better in the tri-state area , and it is more than worth the drive and at least worth making a call to inquire. http://www.keyanimal.com/

  Does anyone have any recommendations for a good cheap vet in the latrobe/greensburg area? We rescued a rottweiler last july shes had a rough life she was kept in a cage anywhere from 18hrs a day or more she had very bad cherry eyes and couldnt see. We got her eye surgery and she did very well. Now this poor baby has pyometra which is a very bad infection in her uterus. Its very costly up to $1,000 the cheapest I was able to find is $750. Pyometra is very deadly if not treated. I dont really have the funds I even looked into payments but unfortunately vets that I called dont except payments. The reason why its so expensive I was told is because first they have to do surgery for the pyometra then she needs to get spayed. This dog is the biggest sweetheart she wants nothing but to give u kisses and be on ur lap its breaking my heart. Im just looking for any advice of places to go. Please no rude comments.   I have a rottie also and there is a vet we have used for surgery in WV near oglebay. He is amazing and his fees were very reasonable. It's called Key Animal Hospital. 304-242-7475

  You're welcome. She sees my cats and is one of the best. Now if she doesn't there's dr yurko at k.e.y. animal hospital another really good one but I don't think he sees exotics. I take my dogs to him. Animal Hospital 855 Warden Run Rd, Wheeling, WV 26003 (304) 242-7475 Dr shondrick will be your best bet though.
