Physiotherapist for Achilles Injury? I'm currently seeing a physio for my Achilles, but they seem a bit new and I'd like to get a second opinion.
I've also heard that IMS is great for an achilles rupture recovery, and this physio isn't trained to perform that treatment.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a physiotherapist in the core who does IMS? (Would also prefer one who's reasonably priced... I've noticed that initial consultation fees can range anywhere from $90 to $180, with subsequent sessions costing $70 to $115)
Thanks!

These people do IMS: http://thedowntownsportsclinics.com/ Don't know about achilles, but presumably if you can do it in a shoulder or glute you can do it anywhere. I had an Achilles injury a while back, are you doing the Alfredson protocol? Fixed mine and based on the research I did, it's the gold standard for Achilles physio... here are some links. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2658946/ http://www.jospt.org/doi/abs/10.2519/jospt.2014.4720http://bjsm.bmj.com/content/early/2011/11/10/bjsports-2011-090035.full
