Anyone interested in hosting a house show?? Know of any bars/venues that would be interested in booking me for live music?? The idea is to be able to play as much as possible to cover my flight and make a little spending money for my time there, but not to lose money. Suggestions??

  Shameless plug for a couple of venues not far from us: The Portland Arms at Cambridge (http://www.theportlandarms.co.uk/wp/) hosted Will Hoge last year when he was over, and there's also the Colchester Arts Centre (http://www.colchesterartscentre.com/). Would have loved to host a house show but we don't have a house big enough, sorry! Happy to attend one though :-)

  Chinnerys Southend is the best venue of that size in south essex, then the Colchester Arts Centre is good for north essex.
