  So I'm stationed in Naples, Italy where pool is virtually non-existent unless you're playing on base. I know many active duty like myself as well as contractors who say that they would participate in a league if I were to have one established here. My issue is that in order to put on any kind of pool league, our MWR representative for NSA Naples says that we would need some kind of sponsorship. Is there anyone that you guys/gals can recommend I speak with in regards to setting up a sponsorship for over here? I can provide more information on points of contact here if anyone can help out.   contact someone at www.poolplayers.com, they can probably help you out or perhaps you can get touch with someone there or even the president about setting up or sponsoring an APA league in Italy.
