  Joanna R. wrote: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We booked car hire at the end of June and as requested, provided them with our flight details so that it could be tracked. Yet when we arrived there the office was closed and none of the phone numbers provided were answered. Since then we have been in touch with them regularly to ask for our deposit to be returned as we didn't receive car hire and despite providing them with a screenshot of the calls made to the phone numbers on their paperwork - as they requested - we have still not received our deposit. We only wish we had read the company's reviews before using Carjet. The actual booking process was easy - but getting our money back is another thing. We ended up having to pay for a taxi from Crete airport. Our advice - do not use Carjet as it has been a scam.

  Apart from Lara on the urb can anyone recommend a car hire place. Bit disappointed in Lara as they now ask for the car to be returned empty when before we just filled up what we used. Only want to potter in it so wont use more than 10 euros lol x

  We use Carjet.com and they check all companies for best deals. My last hire was free for 6 days I only paid £25 insurance....that was January in November for a week we paid £16!

  I used http://www.carjet.com/ a lot and found them great. They are not a car hire firm but they will find the best quote from all airports.

  Go on a website such as carjet.com or car hire 3000 cos they search the market and give you cheapest of the best such as record or gold car and cheaper than their own sites as they bulk buy. Xx
