  I need help from people in the Turlock area. I need a good, reliable plumber/construction in the Turlock area. I had to fire Thorsen's and have a bid from Action Plumbing. Anyway, a tree root broke my sewer line under my slab foundation house. First bid was for $10,000.00 and will destroy my carpet and hardwood floor, besides $1,180.00 to remove the tree and unknown $ to repair the sidewalk that the city says it will put a lien on my house to fix. So now Action Plumbing comes out and says that the bid was "too low" and are going to give me a higher bid, over $15,000.00 to do the work. I need to get some second opinions, but he has me over a barrel because, I want it done quickly, we can't use the toilets in the house. If anyone know of a good plumber that can give me free estimates, please let me know. I thought it was going to cost me $10,000 to fix and then $20,000, and now 30,000. for everything. I guess I want a different quote, but who knows, it may be what it will be.
