  Looking for an insurance company that will give renters insurance to people whom operate off an exterior wood stove. We are with co-operators & while they would give us renters insurance but only on rhe basis that someone comes out & insures the house is at least 200(or 300) ft from our house. Which is understandable but we have to pay for them to come here. Is this the norm & are there any other companies that offer?

  Amanda, I work at State Farm call me if you have time tomorrow to discuss the details.I'm at 613-724-3276.I know we insure home with outdoor woodstove, we do though require pictures and details of the stove, and you don't have to pay for us to come for inspection...
