  Anon please. I recently asked on here for recommendations for a good builder, to build a house for us from scratch. Out of approx 10 names and numbers, 3 didn't answer, 2 didn't turn up, 4 simply didn't have the skills and today the one we thought was best got told to pack up and not come back ( bad judgement by us ). Such a terrible lack of skills in the area.
