Hi there, i dont usualy post on this page, but seeing as it has to do with hair which is my profession i felt as tho it was my professional responsibility to do so. Im verry verry sorry to hear about your experience at that salon, and i really do hope that it dosent take away your trust from hairdressers cause some of us, actualy know what we are doing. I see that some people have posted saying you should contact the CANB ( Cosmetology Association of New Brunswick) which i HIGHLY HIGHLY recomend. In fact, http://www.canb.ca/Contactus.htm here you go, its they're website with all the contact information you should need to file a report. As for "signing a waver" thats the most pittiful excuse i have ever herd in my entire life. SOME salons will make you sign a waver to protect themselves from you taking action when it comes to some services ( this mainly pertains to chemical services such as color perm ect, good example : woman comes in with pitch black hair and demands to be christina aguilera blond, which any good stylist will tell you and convince you otherwise that it will not happen, but some clients are persistant and think they know everything, hence...the waver) with that beeing said tho....wavers do NOT excuse actualy inflincting pain/ dmg to ones actual body like thats absolutely absurd. Im thankfull that i got let go from that place due to beeing "too creative". Sorry for the wall of text, again, PLEASE PLEASE FILE A REPORT, do NOT let this happen to someone else! -Best Regards A Hairstylist that actualy knows what he's doing
