  Amanda Pilbeam is an amazing driving instructor. I was terrified of driving as a dear friend passed away in a freak driving accident when she was only 20 years old (no drink or drugs involved, purely a freak accident). I didn't want to learn at all, but needed to for work. I started trying to learn at 19, but was reduced to a sweaty nervous shaking wreck everytime i got near a car. Amanda was the third instructor I tried, at this time I was 24. I passed 4 months before I was 25. She was absolutely great, and taught me great techniques to handle my nerves (including the basics of remembering to breathe!), and by the end I even started to enjoy driving!
