We have 3 well behaved springer spaniels, location ideally near Keswick but open to others based on price. We're probably looking at August & September but again this can change based on price. - dose anyone know someone with a cottage that would rent for 2months? Also ideally an enclosed garden, again not essential.

  Try http://absolute-escapes.com/ and ring the office on Monday rather than looking at online prices, there are often deals to be done for longer term rentals, although August is obvs peak season...

  Hi Folks, having used Cumbrian cottages for the last ten years for my visit home I would like to try a different company to book through as the last visit left us with the most appalling cottage and a company unwilling to take responsibility for the state of it. I don't wish to give them anymore business. Would anyone be able to recommend another company to use that they are happy with, we would need to use someone who has cottages which allow one gorgeously well behaved dog. Many thanks for suggestions in advance.

  We have used Sallys cottages a couple of times and have been fine. Also lately we have used http://www.absolute-escapes.com/ who have been very helpful in finding us a suitable place for two large dogs. We tend to want at least a large garden or some land attached. Also the last two booking with them did not incur a charge for the dogs.
