  I'd like some references from my classmates. My mother needs to have her bathtub removed and we need to make that space into a walk-in shower (or roll in, I should say). I need a licensed contractor who can do this job. Can any of you recommend someone? We will have to take the tile off the walls and replace it with a solid surface material and there will have to be new fixtures installed. I have located the right kind of shower pan online for such a conversion. Please send me a message or just give me names of people you have used that have done a good job. Thanks!

  Hey Carol, about a year ago we had our bathtub removed and a walk in shower put in it's place....We used Doug Kelly dba DK Construction...He did a wonderful job and for what we felt like was a reasonable price.....I am sure you can tell him what you want and he can give you a price and how long it would take...His number is 931-797-0607....
