  East Cambridge Savings Bank. Somerville location at 285 Highland Ave at Cedar St., about a half-mile from Davis. Also ATM in Magoun Square. Cambridge locations near Inman, Porter, and E. Cambridge. I have a free checking account with no minimum balance and no hidden fees, which was impossible at BoA. http://www.ecsb.com

  I've had no problems with East Cambridge. I've just maintained a small free checking account, with a debit/credit card, with them for over a decade now. I couldn't do that with BoA without them stealing from it for being below their minimum. Do not confuse East Cambridge Savings Bank with Cambridge Savings Bank, that's a completely different bank.
