  ok - i checked with the facebook friend - herself a respected musician around northern ca. her musical partner is a mandolin picker - he has played bills mandolele and found it to be an incredible instrument. bill himself is a top notch player so it makes sense that his product would be the same. let me see if i can find any videos of bill other than the sound bytes on his sites. talk soon.
