Any recommendations for stylists with curly hair experience? I have thick/coarse/dry 3b hair that really needs a trim, but I'm wary of trusting it to any old "Great Clips"-esque person due to terrible past experiences.
I've found out that the Be Inspired salon has DevaCurl-certified employees, however, I'd rather not pay $65+ to just get my split ends snipped.

I've been to Sigrid at [Elevation Salon](http://elevationspa.net/) just off the square and LOVED her. Unfortunately I've moved away from Madison and have been unable to return. I have thick/fine/curly/wavy hair that's unruly and frizzy in every way imaginable. Some parts of it are tight spirals, and some parts of my hair are practically straight. She did a fantastic job and spent 45-60 minutes with me, and then blow-dried it straight at the end. Their price quotes a women's haircut/style at $40+, and I remember it being no more than $45, which, for a quality haircut, is well worth every penny.
