I am almost in tears trying for the last 3 hours to restore an iPad Air that has been disabled.
The iPad came home with my daughter (who is non-verbal) from her respite centre yesterday, and when I tried to switch it on, it was out of battery, so I re-charged it. Once re-charged, it showed that it's been disabled. So I don't know what happened as they have a few staff on shift at a time. I'm guessing somebody used the wrong passcode repeatedly?
Anyway, I've tried at least 8 times to restore it through iTunes, but it's not working. iTunes on my computer is asking me to allow access to the iPad, but the iPad just displays "iPad is disabled, connect to iTunes".
I've also tried erasing the iPad through iCloud but nothing happens. Can anyone advise what to do? I need to get this fixed asap as it's my daughter's ONLY form of communication and she hasn't had it for more than 36 hours. Thanks so much!
