  Is anyone missing this sweet kitty? It looks to be less than a year old. VERY hungry and skinny. I have fed it and gave it water. It is very clingy and cuddly. It has a wound on its neck. Does anyone know of any services that provide medical care? I am in no position to pay for a vet visit right now. People dump cats here all the time so not sure if that is the case. We don't mind taking care of it after a vet visit, we take care of all the strays that come here, just don't have $100 for a vet visit right now. I called and left a message with Homeward Bound. We are off HWY 240 and Kinney 6 miles out of Newberg. xposted.

  Such a beautiful boy! Family pet clinic in Newberg ( http://www.familypetclinicofnewberg.com/ ) has a fund to cover things like this, you might want to call and see if they can help. Great people there. If that doesn't work out, call the emergency vet in Tualatin http://evcot.com/, they are really good people too and can help you find medical care for him. If those two fail to get you some info for help, the Cat adoption team in Sherwood will have more information or contacts to help, just make sure all of these know when you call that you are trying to help him as an injured stray and you are trying to find his home.

  Sigh... first one dog, 1-1/2 weeks ago, came down, all of a sudden, with bunches of hot spots...it's better but we're still battling it some. Now my other dog can't keep down food or water since last night. We have an appointment with the vet tomorrow afternoon but now that water isn't even staying down I might have to find an emergency vet.   If you call Newberg after hours, they will send you to the Emergency Veterinary clinic of Tualatin 19314 SW Mohave Ct (behind Applebee's) 503-691-7922 - we brought our Lab there after he ate one of my inhalers - they did a fantastic job!
