  Ooh, you have my sympathy - I've had sciatica on & off for years since an accident when I was younger - so painful. I can highly recommend Anna at Hardwicke & Quedgeley Chiropractic Clinic - 01452 883232. Usually takes several sessions close together t o sort out a flare up but it DEFINITELY helps. Other than a cocktail of strong painkillers, most of which it seems you've already tried, the only other thing that's worked for me in the past is alternating heat & ice packs on the area as frequently as possible & plastering on copious amounts of 'Biofreeze' which I buy on Amazon - the roll-on applicators are fab because you can reach your own lower back without help & don't have to get it all over your hands!! Good luck - hope you get some relief ASAP.
