Now that she's going off to college, she's bought her first pair of "girl jeans" and has begun wearing some of her girlfriend's clothes. I want to support her by bringing her a basket of some essintials like women's deoderant, cosmetics, and clothes! One of the things I'd like to include is a pair of shoes. Unflortunately, I've had issues finding any womens shows that would fit her. She wears an 11 1/2 in womens shoes, but I don't know what stores carry them in a size that large. Does anybody know good places to purchase shoes for transwomen?

  Visit longtallsally.com and shoeshow.com. The latter is really low cost. I wear US Women's size 14, so I understand the pain of searching for shoes. Avoid anything that "ships in two weeks" from China. Their sizes are always off in my size range.

  The Shoe Dept stores carry them: Springfield Mall, Exton, Langhorne, Plymouth Meeting ... check shoedept.com. Sperry brand, can't remember how much. I used to work in the Springfield & Exton stores.
