Everything seems to work, but I have been unable to find a manual for it. And while we're on the topic, does anyone know if it is a suitable sewing machine for MYOG? It's exceptionally heavy so I imagine it has all metal parts.

The feeddog isn't moving at all as underneath it is very hard to move. I was wondering if there is a manual for this machine somewhere. It was made in 1922, I did find the number and cleaned it so I could read it. Or is there a place I could go to on the internet to check it out. I did do a search before and unfortunately when I went to download the information it corrupted my computer. So I thought this would be the best place to come too. Thank you to any one who can help. Just ask here and there are many who will either help or tell you where you can find helpful videos. It should sew through any normal home sewing including a few additional layers. Treadling isn't hard to learn bu t many of these can have a motor easily attached. I would keep her and if you don't feel you can do what she needs to get working, well worth having someone do it. But I would ask them to show you what they did so you can do it at home from now on. Beautiful machine. Model 66, uses bobbins you can easily get today. There is probably a manual in the files here with all the info you will need. The ISMACS Web site will give you dating info using the serial number at the base in the picture above under the red eye decal on the base. Enjoy her! If you want to learn to treadle there are some really great help here and some other groups.

I clean machines from this era with awesome cleaner from the dollar store. Mix it with some water and use a rag, don't spray it directly on the machine and test first on a small area...each machine is different. I think there is an attachment to monogram with these but I'm not sure which one.

You have to be a bit careful on the 27's, though, because the clear coat isn't very sturdy. You may have to stick with just sewing machine oil and gentle wiping, no rubbing. If you have a bike shop near you, you may be able to find Tri-Flow Synthetic Lubricant (this is an oil type product, not to be confused with Singer Lubricant, which is a grease). Just one drop per oil spot, as shown in the manual (although the manual for the 192 is all of 4 pages). I'd suggest downloading the 99K manual from singerco.com. Same machine, better manual.
