About us
My name is Kalin Davis and I am 20 years old. I set out on a mission to become the best rider that I could be 5 years ago after taking a break from my life long lessons as a child. After 4 years of barrel racing and pole bending I decided that it was time for a change of pace and started my internship with an Olympic level dressage rider in New Mexico working with her Prix St. Georges horses. While in New Mexico I got the chance to work with all kinds of horses; from wild mustangs, to off the track quarter horses, and even abused rescue horses. My mentor saw what I could do with these horses and asked me start training for her barn. That's when I realized that I could make a difference in the horse training world! My goal is to show people that horses don't have to be broken to be ridden; but to have a mutual, trusting, relationship. My methods are not a one size fits all method, but are tailored to each individual horse to bring out their full potential.
I am currently practicing my hunter jumper skills with my own horse and training my newest addition in reining at Promise's Kept Stables in Spring Hill, Tennessee and have recently started taking in clients for on site 30 days training.
