About us
A modern and bright renovated barn, thoughtfully converted to a beautifully high standard, adjoining the owners' farmhouse. Set in the idyllic village of West Camel, Polo Cottage is within walking distance of a local pub and bakery.
The Cottage is an ideal base for touring the whole of Somerset and Dorset with many attractions close by; including the Fleet Air Arm Museum at RNAS Yeovilton, Haynes Motor Museum, Glastonbury Tor, Clarks Village at Street, the Roman Baths, the Quantock Hills and the beautiful beaches on the Jurassic coast. The holiday cottage is also perfect for those who love walking and exploring the quaint English Countryside. Enjoy the scenery of Sarah and Nick's 4 acres of farmland, just a short stroll from the property, where you can meet the chickens, pigs and lambs. The beach is also only 30 miles away - (Weymouth is dog friendly!).
This gorgeous 'home from home' sleeps 2 (+ a sofa bed, on request) in a ground floor double with patio doors leading to an private patio with seating, en-suite shower in a spacious wet-room and WC. The lounge/dining area is upstairs in a open and naturally lit space which with its high ceiling helps the cottage to retain much of its original charm. TV and DVD and plenty of books are provided in the lounge area, along with some fun board games. The kitchen is well-equipped with cooker, hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer.
We offer parking space for 1 car in our secure driveway.
Bed linen, towels, shower robes, electric and underfloor heating included.
Heating surcharge of £30 from October to April (inclusive), payable to owner on arrival.
Wi-fi available (free).
2 well-behaved dogs can be brought with you* (by arrangement) and there is an opportunity to use our heated outdoor kennel and a dog-washing area to wash off any mucky puppies!
We will try and provide half a dozen free range eggs from our chickens on arrival, or any other goodies from the garden!
Security deposit of £50 payable to... show more owner two weeks prior to arrival.
