Car auction agents? Does anyone here know anyone who has the license to go and purchase cars at the auctions here in Japan or recommend any agents who do that kind of thing? Don't want to pay the price of this specific car which dealers are charging. Thanks!

You can go to [Japan-Partner.com](https://Japan-Partner.com) and sign up yourself. Instead of seeking out an agent and paying a fee to them, you can do the legwork yourself. If you *really* want someone else to do the work for you, I'd recommend Pacific Coast Auto. They have bilingual support. Typically, their business is to ship elsewhere, and they do charge a fee for their services, but they're fantastic with customer service and explaining the auction process.
looking for basic information regarding shipping a vehicle back to the states when pcsing, any help is appreciated.
also, looking for information as to where complete engine/trans can be found purchased. is the best place to look in the junkyards?

I found my car on www.japan-partner.com. Free account and you can get an idea for how much is available and how much time they're available for. Car auctions have a time that the car goes up for sale and the bidding is usually over in less than a minute. Really weird system. Uses computer bidding also somehow to kind of drive the price up. You can see what it looks like on YouTube.
