About us

After years of baking and dreaming of owning a bakery I have finally made it!
I started baking in high school and teaching my Home Economics teachers how to decorate cakes which transformed into giving small seminars at the local mall. Back then Creative Cakes by MaryBeth was born. Specializing in decorative cakes for all occasions and wedding cakes. Yes, Wedding cakes at age 18. As an adult I cant believe people entrusted me to take on a project for one the most important days in their life!
Well, times have changed and I am not a fan of fondant but my love for pie baking never stopped.
Moving to North Carolina with all the wonderful southern food, I found that there was a need for some good handmade homemade pies using fresh quality ingredients. I hope that my pies which are all made with care bring a smile to your face and delight to your appetite.
