I hope I don't get into trouble for posting this- and I am not selling anything so that's why I think it's ok. Has anyone looked at their electricity bill lately and noticed it has gone up? Mine sure did, and it was because the carrier I used to use, expired---meaning my contracted rate expired, and then I got hosed. Anyways, I was speaking to a friend who is with Ambit Energy. Her job, is to look over those "contracted prices" if you go with Ambit, and make sure to lock you in at a good price, forever moving forward , so that the spike thing doesn't happen again. Ever. It might be worth it to compare who you use now, with a company like Ambit....I saved over $100 per month on my bill, just by taking a few minutes to compare prices.
