I've lived in or around Fredericksburg for a long time now, so I feel like I've been everywhere and done everything anyone could want to do here. Where is somewhere nearby -- within a 30 or 40 minute drive -- that one might want to explore? Where would you go if you wanted to go somewhere for a fun day trip in cold weather?
The weekend is coming and I need a change of scenery. Suggestions?

h ave you guys heard of this place called The Breakout Game Fredericksburg? It is right across the street from Earls Hardware on Chatham Heights Rd. You are locked in a room with your family, friends and maybe even a stranger- you have to play games, figure out combinations, solve puzzles - all kiinds of stuff to get out of the room in the 60 minutes. Real life escape the room game- here is the website www.thebreakoutgamefredericksburg.com
Are there any new restaurants, shops, or other fun places to go around here? I'm always looking for new businesses opening up, but you have to search them out.
