Advice on repairing Maytag Neptune Dryer Hey all.
There has been this worsening screeching noise coming from my Maytag Neptune Dryer. After taking it apart and looking at it, it looks like the bearings are what need to be replaced. However, for now, it's working just fine, but I'd really rather get this noise stopped ASAP. Don't worry, I cleaned out the lint when I took it apart, so I guess no concern for a fire.
Firstly, where can I find a reliable website to purchase the needed replacement parts for a reasonable price? Aren't there packages with replacement bearings that also come with a new belt as well?
Secondly, is it possible to just take the bearings off and clean them really well, without purchasing replacement bearings? Or is that inadvisable?
Thanks in advance!

AppliancePartsPros.com and tribles.com are good sources for factory parts. I have a Neptune dryer and did the same replacement a while back, new drum rollers at the rear. Cheap Amazon parts lasted less than a year. Get factory rollers, inspect the front sliders and replace if they’re getting thin, add a new belt and tensioner pulley and you’ll be good to go.
Recommendations please for a washing machine repair person -- my machine is burning rubber during the spin cycle, so I think it needs a new belt. Thx

I just fixed mine myself., got the parts in beltsville at Tibles on sunnyside. https://www.tribles.com. till then it's looking at the make model, age from the internet, then balancing the load during the spin..

I had to replace my pump on one of mine in the past. can save a lot of time and be rewarding to do but if need fast call someone Trebles has parts not sure if they fix too, they are located near Amber Meadows. https://www.tribles.com/
Electrical engineering nerds/HVAC DIYers: I need a start/run capacitor for a Carrier condenser fan motor. 45uF 7.5uF 370VAC. Any idea where I can pick one up in the morning? It's getting awfully shweddy in the Bloom household...
