The mission of Lowcountry Large Animal Veterinary Services is
“To provide compassionate, reliable, quality service to our clients and the most advanced, progressive veterinary care to our large animal patients with an emphasis on preventative medicine. We strive to provide quality large animal care in South Carolina's Lowcountry and Georgia's Coastal Empire."
LLAVS provides large animal preventative medicine, herd healthcare and equine dentistry as well as reproductive, lameness, and field surgical services for the large animal populations of Beaufort, Jasper, Hampton, Dorchester, Colleton and Charleston counties of South Carolina as well as the counties of Chatham, Effingham and Springfield in Georgia.
Lowcountry Large Animal also offers specific equine services such as nutritional consultation, digital radiography, portable ultrasound and artificial insemination. LLAVS provides scheduled ambulatory care in the form of veterinary mobile units during regular appointment hours as well as afterhours. Please contact our office to schedule an appointment.
Afterhours or emergency care is available 24 hours per day
and 7 days a week.
