  Thank you Karen Conley Hill for recommending me. Yes, 8 is a little young for voice lessons, but I have taught some gifted students as young as 5. I am very CAREFUL with how I treat the voice of each of my students. For younger students, I focus on tec hnique, ear training, poise, breathing, and performance (body language). I never encourage my students to "belt" but remind them to be patient as their bodies are still growing.
