Hey All! REAL ESTATE/RENTAL QUESTION:
My dad lost his house in Larkfield on 10/9 and his insurance company (AAA) said they will only give him $3,000/month toward a rental until his house is rebuilt, claiming that is what his house would have rented for (prior to the fire).
Any real estate agents out there that could help me by providing some listings, or even just data on the current rental market, of comparable homes in the area so that he can send the information to his insurance company? 2200 sqft 4bd/2b/pet friendly (3 small dogs)/single story (my 92 yo grandmother was living with him and uses a walker so stairs are a no go)
Or has anyone had success getting their insurance company (AAA or any other commpany) to increase the amount of money alloted for "loss of use"? If so, how were you able to get them to increase the amount?
Trying help him since he doesn"t have a computer right now, but I live in Phoenix so I have no idea where to start...
Thank you!
