  ISO a Cowboy We need a trainer who can fix a horse we can't seem too! We have worked with her for months and are getting toward out breaking point and just having her as a pasture ornament but she's too nice. We are willing to try ONE last effort. Will throw a fit if you ride her alone! Strikes, Rears and refuses to move forward. She needs someone who isn't scared and will keep riding her thorough it. We don't want go get hurt. She knows what's going on and is very smart about it. She's sweet as can be in the pasture and walking back to the barn.Has flipped twice (once on a long line and once walking out to the arena) This mare isn't safe and needs someone who knows what they are doing. She is 16.2 hands and a big girl! Honestly, we feel like we've exhausted everything we know.If anyone is up to a challenge let me know. Located near Roanoke Rapids, NC

  Wish I had the time, but one solution that I have used before is when she rears, crack a raw egg over her poll, it makes them think they hit their head and are bleeding, and it almost always cures the rearing. But but definitely contact Sugaree Ranch of Horsemanship!! I've heard great things about them!!

  I'm toying with the idea of sending my coming 3 year old Friesian Cross out for training sometime within the year, so I'm trying to see what's available in the area. I haven't figured out exactly what I discipline I want to do with her yet (dressage, maybe?), but I want her to have a good, solid English foundation. She's very rideable, but I haven't done much more on her than walking with a halter and leadrope. She has a great brain and would be a wonderful student! I just don't have the time to train her myself. Anyone have any trainer recommendations? I'm interested in someone with lots of patience and who won't hesitate to include me in parts of the process. Also, since Fina already eats all of my money, I can't break the bank! ;)
