  Hello. I saw a picture of a piece of reflective kit and I cant remember where I saw it. It attached to the back of the saddle and looked like the rear part of the harness below that goes around the bum but was all reflective strips. Very ideal for my hairy cob because she would just pour with sweat under an exercise sheet. Do any of you own one or know where I can get one from? x

  You could try exercise sheets, tail guard or Jan Parsons does the Parsons rump, other than that try a hat cam, these often make drivers think twice about speeding past.

  In light of the hit and run incident with my horse at the weekend I'm looking into getting some hi viz reflective tape to make into some barding round and over his bum. We already have a breastplate. Going to put LED lights on to it too, and on to a rail guard! Anyone know a good place to source some high quality tape? I can only find it in bulk for 100 metres!!! Only need maybe 3-5 max!! Any ideas welcomed :)

  If your looking for something to go over his bottom have a look at Parsons Rump, I use this type of highly reflective tape in either yellow or reddish orange. But if you want to DIY something then look on e-bay in the car section but that is usually the adhesive type. I have made a custom rump with added loops so the customer could add boot laces the sort that light up - looked very good in the photo's she sent me.
