Also need someone to finish the floorsing of the attic and put in a new attic door. We are looking for appropiate/good prices for great work. Let me know if you know anyone.

Looking for recommendations for a solid electrician willing to do a small job. We have a ceiling fan that works but the lights do not. I have messed around with the wires but nothing seems to work. Looking for a professional willing to fix this. TIA.
Bob L. replied:
Hi Kourosh Najimi My name is Bob and I'm the owner of POPS ELECTRIC. We charge the same to come out to troubleshoot the fan as we do to replace it. Even if it's only a few years old, if the electronics on the inside went bad, there's nothing we can do to repair. Which why we recommend having a new fan there when we get there. You can IM me or email me at bob@popselectric.com. Thx!!!!!!
Electrician recommendations please!!!! Fair prices and great people skills are my thing! Thanks in advanced

We need an attic fan installed. Had one before the new roof was put on but they recommended a ridge vent. It is way to warm up there I think we need the fan. Anyone have pros and cons on using one? Good company to call? Ty
Bob L. replied:
It only voids the warranty of the ridge vents. Not the roof. And ridge vents are worthless anyway. Take it from me. I've been in thousands of attics. Those with ridge vents are just as hot as those with nothing. An attic fan however keeps the attic roughly the same temperature as the outside. As apposed to 130-150 degrees in an attic on a hot day. That heat has nowhere to go and makes your 2 nd floor much warmer, or your whole house, if it's a rancher. I have never had 1 leak. I have never had 1 catch on fire. They have a built-in flashing that, when installed properly, can not leak. They have a built-in thermal fuse that will prevent them from overheating or catching fire. If you have gable vents on the ends of your attic, that is where it is going to draw the fresh air in. It should not draw any A/C into the attic unless you leave your attic access or pull-down stairs open. It is going to draw air from the point of least resistance. I've been putting them in for 20 years and never had a problem. 856-767-0767Www.popselectric.com

This shows the wounded :-) microwave where the lower panel melted off the door. Recommendations for someone to replace the door??
Bob L. replied:
Def too low. Replace it and hang the new one higher. You'll need a smaller cabinet above it. Call us if you'd like a free estimate. 856-767-0767Www.popselectric.com
