  Hi Tracy, it does sound like you want an entertainer, with a bolt-on Disco, rather than a DJ who may provide games. In my experience, 5 yr olds need entertaining (lots of games) and actual music (DJing) is not that important to them. (This is why I've not offered to quote - I'm not an "Uncle Jason" style kids entertainer!) I have worked with; http://www.princessparties.co.uk/ and provided the bolt-on Disco, they do a fantastic job, and something similar (as offered by Jennifer Embleton) would probably be a good fit for that age range.

  What are the kids age? I don't know any DJs that are specifically a kids entertainer. I've personally covered 5 th birthdays, but only provide a disco. I also work with Princess Parties, so they do pamper parties for girls, and I provide the disco. Nice for a Sunday afternoon! I do get recommended for 13 ths etc, but rarely take on this type of work on a Saturday due to my Wedding business. So, I can't think of any specific kids entertainers. Sorry! Perhaps if you can provide more info (age, number of kids, area etc) some others may be able to help.
