My parents are looking to come over for 8wks with various members of the family etc but we think it would be best for them to hire a property so we aren't on top of each other as we will have just moved house (fingers crossed). Can anyone recommend self catering properties that would consider a long winter let? Cost isn't so much of an issue looking for a home from home that they can set up a base & probably do a big family Christmas in! Any recommendations hugely appreciated, thanks so much!

  La Place hotel have lovely self catering cottages and do winter lets - real home from home or check out macoles.com (they have listings for self catering places of all sorts )
